Mànran are one of the best-known and best-loved Scottish bands on the scene today. The 2011 launch of their debut single,
“Latha Math” heralded a meteoric rise to the top of the Scottish music world that quickly saw them playing many of the most prestigious festivals in Europe.
Preparations are well under way for recording their eagerly-awaited 3rd album.

I did find this band in Youtube, Live at Shrewsbury Folk Festival 2023. For me it was so good, can't find words, it blew me away and still does.

Scottish folk centred around fiddle and piano. The album begins with Dawn Chorus, which slowly awakens to the rising sun. There are reflective compositions throughout, while Almost Home and Ascending lift the mood back up. I think Megan Henderson and Lauren MacColl should do a gig together.
